Question about 1996 Chrysler Town & Country

2002 Town & Country AC fan

Front AC fan blows only at highest (speed) setting.
What do I have to replace and how do I access it?
Is there an after-market equiv.?

You need a blower motor resistor,yes you can get it after market and it is located under the glove box

I assume you mean the blower for the ac and heater.
How is it not working but works on high ?
And what power are you turning off that makes it blow harder ?

My front blower on my 2002 Town and Country won't shut off. It blows full speed any time the van is running.

My front air does not blow out (it works in the back). I changed the blower relay in the fuse box next to the battery and put in a new blower fan under the glove box but it still does not blow air out in...


Have you replaced the blower motor resistor? It's located behind the passenger-side in-dash glove box. That's what allows you to control the fan speed.

most of the time the resistor is located downwind of the blower motor so it should be not to fao from the blower motor in the right rear of the van behind the quater trim panel which is the hvac unit is located

The front ac wont blow but the back ac will why is that?


YOU HAVE TWO SEPERATE FANS TO BLOW THE AIR ONE IN FRONT AND ONE IN THE BACK CHECK THE FUSES FIRST UNDER THE DASH AND SECOND UNDER THE HOOD SHOULD BE ANOTHER ALSO CHECK THE RELAYS UNDER THE HOOD THE PUSE PANEL COVER SHOULD TELL YOU THE FUSE LOCATION AND NUMBER AND AMPERAGE OF THE FUSE

does it turn off when the car turns off? if so, you probably need a new blower motor resistor. They run about $80 but shop around. Fixed my problem right away
