Email this guy at sales@bargainworlduk.com he sells the carbon brushes new at only 5.99 a pair! Its fantastic and they work a treat. Why pay £300 when it will cost 5.99 to buy a new set of carbon brushes!!

Check the heater blower motor brushes.

These are very common problems on Sprinters and Vito vans.

The brushes can be replaced and can be bought on ebay for £12.50. Changing them is a 30 min job.

I have 2005 vito 115 lwb I see the motor can be accessed by removing the plastic tray above it on the dash getting the heater resistor dropping plug (5 pin black) and its assembly( 2 black lugs hold assy into fan sqirrell cage cooling fins) this can be sent away for repair or replacement.
Can you replace the brushes without removing blower motor I think the 2 pin white plug goes to the brush housing on top center section motor and housing is held in by 2 torque screws Is that correct ?????

90% of the time the wiring on the motor has corroded put the heaters on and play around with the wire which is located under the hood on the right hand side top part you will see a big black box it has a 2 pin plug if that is the problem it is very simple to mend the wire

Blower motor only runs on low for 2006 sprinter van

If your blower runs at low speed at the highest speed setting, it is more likely to be the motor rather than the resistor array. If it runs at low speed setting only then it is likely to be the resistor array.

1996 astro chevy van heater use to work on low and med but wont work at all now.

The blower resistor has gone bad which is why you lost blower speeds. This may have been caused by the blower motor drawing too much power. At this point I would verify that no fuses burned out and then check the pigtail plugs going to the resistor and blower motor to make sure the connectors and connections are not melted or wiring is frayed. These connectors are located in the engine compartment on the passenger side. After checking this and if everything appears ok then the blower motor itself has probably gone bad and needs replaced. I would also replace the blower motor resistor as well. If the connectors appear damaged replace or repair as needed .

Blowers not working on my sprinter 313 52 plate they work with a direct 12v so motor fine and brushes are new

Does the blower work on full speed only? if so then it is the resistor, which is located in the heater box.

Cannot locate the cord for the block heater on 2010 mercedes sprinter van

The new 3.0L doesnt have a block heater.. Not with Dodge anyway.. you can
buy an in-line heater that splices into the lower radiator hose and will heat up the coolant.. you could also program your auxillary heater to come on before you get up in the morning.. should be in your manual.. let me know if that helps?

1999 windstar, rear heater was only blowing on med/high no stoppe

be prepared to renew both the blower motor and blower resistor. if it were just a bad resistor it should work on hi-speed only. make sure you have power to the motor when on hi speed. bad blower motors will kill the resistor. follow the water tubes from under the drivers side of van to the point where they enter the van, that is where unit would be located on the inside. be prepared to remove some seats and wall covers.

Heat/ac blower motor works on high. intermittent on other speeds.

Check the blower resistor pack - usually located in the heater air ducting in the blower fan airflow. Check for loose connections and open circuit resistors on the unit.
If speed 4 works always, its unlikely to be the blower motor ground connection.

02 Blazer. Heater worked intermitly.. now not at all

The blower lives under the dash on the pass side Look for 12v on the large purple wire with the heater on..also run 12v to the blower to confirm it works. If no 12v check the blower relay in the power dist center under the hood. Also the 30a fuse to it .....look for melting etc...tap on the relay...from this point you need some expertise. Ill help if you want
