No roll over switch on this model, pull the spark plugs and clean them, turn it over with the plugs out with rags over the motor to catch any oil. then put the plugs in and try it again, it won't take much oil on the plugs to stop it starting.

SOURCE: Suzuki Grand Vitara Oil Filter Replacement Disaster

Four or six cylinder engine and behind or front of the oil filter? Looked under my GV 2007 2.7 V6 and can not locate a shiny metal box next to the oil filter. Only thing that was shiny was the exhaust manifold and oil sump which are quite hard to break or puncture. If it was the oil sump you will have to remove it and get it welded as a bog will not hold on heated engine parts.

i had the exact same thing happen to me with my first car, a 1966 mercury comet.

i replaced the fuel pump, rebuilt the carburetor (twice), and finally rebuilt the entire engine! still, every time afterwards, the car ran ok, then would cut off again!

it turned to be just a $2 clogged fuel filter. i' suspect the same with your vehicle. after removing the filter, simply blow through it. any resistance, means it needs replacing.

I have a 2000 suzuki Vitara I can drive a long distance but when I stop it wont start up like it out of gas, and one day I drove to get gas i fill up and started to take off and it stop like I ran out of...

(if engine is good, not overheated )
its only 1 of 2 things.
lost spark (do a spark test using , yes, a test good spark plug)
if spark is good on all cyl
then check fueling, if spark plugs not soaked in fuel (tips)
then try test fuel.
if soaked, the op guide says, hold throttle fully open (depressed 100%) this cuts INJECTIONS 100% and you start a flooding motor)

Fuse keeps blowing!

The fuel injection fuse should also power the injectors. If the fuse is blowing, I would think one of the injectors has shorted to ground.
Have you checked them ?

Message SHOW check the system when i start the car

Hi
Two reasons for this ...
1. the fuel pump is over pumping
2. one of the jets in the Multi Point Fuel injection system is jammed and constantly pumping gas into the cylinder.
Get a good injection cleaner fuel addative... this will solve your problem... though it will take a few days of driving before the RPM settles down below 1K RPM.

How can remove inyectors easy way to clean suzuki

Hi There, You don't need to remove the injectors to clean. Just add BG can of BK44 to the gas tank. That will help clean them or go somewhere and have the fuel injection service clean done. These injectors don't give problems. Don
