Question about 2004 Ford F150
When disengaging 4 wheel drive, drivers side hub sounds like a gear not fully meshing. Now also does it when switching back to 4H.
Get rid of the crappy O.E. locking hubs. Go to the parts store and buy some Warn manual locking hubs. They are easy to install and will fix your problem.
