Check your universal joints on your driveshaft or see if it has a carrier baring loose on driveshaft

Check your shifter linkage, Since they will only start in P or N , Your shifter position sensor may just be knocked out of place or stuck in 5th gear position, even though the shifter is in P ( It used to be called a starter nutrueal safety switch)

Not completely sure of the part name but it think its called fuel injector pulse switch, this freaking switch its right under the turbo's heatshield, on the rear of the block, the ecu that's on top of the driver's side valve cover needs to come of to gain access , there's absolutely no room for any tool, a 1-1/8" crows-foot wrench along with a lot of patience is needed, goog luck!!!!

I want to change the gear oil in differential. I have a 2001 superduty 2WD, what weight gear oil is recommended for this? I can't find an answer anywhere.


Gear oil comes in 90 or 130 weight. depends on where you live and how you use your truck what you use. Your Ford Dealer is best fitted to answer this question ... probably for free if you give a call.

My 1999 F250 superduty is hesitating and my stick vibrates hard while accelerating in 3rd 4th and 5th gears. its mostly between 1000 and 2000 rpm it feels like a loss of power but when i stay at a constant...


umm more info would be very helpful is this a gas or deisel truck ? almost sound like a intermitent misfire creating a vibration throught the trans ? when was your last tune up ? maybe your clutch is slipping ? more info would be awesome :)

Have you looked at your anti lock braking system. It will give a pulsation when it is in use. You may have a problem with it and it is coming on prematurely. Listen when your truck is doing this and you should hear the humming of the antilock system if it is on. Otherwise i would ckeck your ball joints and tie rod ends for wear as this can cause a vibration back thru your braking system as well

I cant find the cabin filter in my '03 superduty


Your cain filter is located under the windshield wipers. My brain cannot think of the name of the plate. But the black plate that the arms of the wipers are attached to needs to come off with torque screws and then once that panel is removed you will see a box saying cabin air filter
