Well for the airconditioner to work you will need freon 134a.You will also have to inspect for leaks at the air conditioning hoses. If your low on freon the system wont turn on if you full of freon then a low pressure switch or high pressure switch or even the airconditioning pump maybe the solution

My astro blows cold air in the front

Check your coolant level. If there is no water or coolant in the reservoir or radiator, there is nothing to get hot! So therefore, you will get no hot air blowing into cab. Also could be stuck thermostat in the open position.

take look here... Lots of good helpful information.

Heater just started blowing cold air, have had the raditator flushed, no leakes replaced the radiator and the thermostate according to the dealer there is nothing they can do but still does not blow hot...

Could be an air lock in the hot water system.
Normal procedure is to slacken a hose clip at the highest point and bleed the air out.
Don't try this when the engine is hot or someone could get scalded. Surprised the dealer didn't bleed the system as they would have a special radiator cap that allows the system to be put under pressure

My 2001 venture van rear air is blowing hot air

often on the vans with rear air the air dor acuator goed bad and can no longer switch from hot to cold. also the swich itself will often go bad. this can be caused by sticky fingers damaging the inside of the switch. sometimes a good cleaning in warm water will fix a sticky switch

Air conditioner blow out hot air

Maybe your heater is working at the same time. An open heater valve can cause this. Maybe there is a leak in the vacuum that pull the heater valve diaphram close.

2002 New VW Beetle is only blowing hot air out of vents even when set on cool. I was driving and I made a turn at an intersection and all of a sudden the cool vent air turned to hot air like I had the heat...

On the bottom of the air unit is the lever that changes temps. It likes to fall out of place.I propped mine back with a piece of half-inch copper pipe a couple of years ago.Remove glove box then panel on front side of console to access.
