my problem resolved by herself, after 2 days, and around 200 km driven, check engine went off and everything is back to normal. in my opinion, and i am not an expert in cars is just my idea of what happen, when y was changing light bulb, i did not disconnected the ground wire and and y had the key connected, and i thing the computer was gating information's from each sensor and when i disconnected MAF it received an error which mess up all system. looks like after 200 km reset himself and now everything is fine.

I have the same problem SES light on. I change the air filter and the SES light goes off but it comes back in couple months. I wonder whether I should replace the air temperature sensor.

Have you had the computer scanned for codes?

There is a sensor for intake air temperature near where you were working that may have accidentally been unhooked. I've done this and not even known I touched it.

Ahhhhhhh... you had the key on while you had to MAFS disconnected. Well, the computer saw that there was a bad signal from that sensor and it turned the light on. Once there are a certain number of "drive cycles" without the problem, the computer sees that the system is functioning properly and turns the light off. The code will still be stored in memory until it reaches 40 drive cycles without seeing a malfunction, at which time, that code will be erased from memory.

Just a note: don't leave the ignition turned on when you are disconnecting any sensors under the hood. That could lead to a real expensive issue that could have been avoided...

Why do all lights work except low beam driver side head lamp?

Seems like if your other low beam is lit, there's something wrong with the new bulb. Make sure it's the exact type needed, and switch the working bulb from the pass. side to drivers side to check.

Where is the fuse located for a 2002 nissan altima drivers side low beam? THANKYOU

There is no fuse for a low beam. If the high beams are working and the low beams aren't then it blew the low beam filament.

No low beam head lights

If you just want to replace the bulb yourself, this is a good website.
http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/Nissan-Altima-Headlight-Bulb/Nissan-Altima-Passenger-Side-Headlight.htm
If the website does't get your headlight fixed... You might have a blown fuse. It could be in the IPDM E/R location under the hood. This is next to the coolant bottle. Remove the coolant bottle with two screws and lift the cover to the IPDM E/R. Just set the coolant bottle aside for now. The low beam fuses are 49 and 50. They are 15A fuses. To be more precise, they are located on row 2, columns 2 and 3 (column 1 being closest to the fender of the car). Hope this helps.

Passenger side low beam headlight on a 2002 nissan altima

when you got the spark chances are you shorted the receptacle for the bulb on the low side you should check the fuse for this . the drivers side low beam worked before so i would say you blew the fuse. on the passenger side check for broken ,frayed ,or loose wires in the light harness and the plugs them selves chances are you will find a short in them. please rate this solution
