Car wont start

Ive tried checking fuel level, checked battery, car will turn over like it wants to start but never does.
it acts like its not getting fuel?

Do electronic fuel pumps go bad or is it somethin related to the fuel pump?
if so what might it be and can some one show me where the parts are located?

Yea electronic fuell pumps do go bad it could be faulty or dirt could be stoping the fuel from reaching the engine causing it not to start or the engine or spark plugs could be flooded if so take them out dry and clean them put them back in and see then if not report to main dealer or local garage recomend honda specialest same thing happened to my dads car 728bmw the fuel pump was faulty and he was driving to work and the car just stoped dead and it was the fuel pump was faulty so try and see

THERE IS A FUEL PUMP DISENGAGE IN THE FRONT END THAT WILL DISABLE THE FUEL PUMP IN FRONT END ACCIDENTS, THIS PREVENTS THE FLOW OF GASOLINE , CHECK YOUR OWNERS MANUAL TO FIND THE LOCATION, ALSO COULD BE A BUTTON IN THE REAR QUARTER PANELS INSIDE THE CAB

Engine trys to start but wont. I have a new battery and the alternator is tested good. Will start sometimes with a jump even though it doesnt appear to be the battery.

If the car isn't turning over slowly as you try to start it, it's not the battery. If it started acting up just after a fuel fill-up, or if you're in a cold climate and your fuel level is low - I'd check for water in the fuel. Treat with Isopropyl alcohol (iso-heat or heet brands) in teh fuel tank. let it sit for 30 mins and try starting for a bit. probably won't start on this attempt. Let set for another 30 mins and try again.
If it's not he above, I would look at teh fuel pump as the culprit. You can test by attaching a fuel pressure guage to the fuel rail - pressure should be between 20-30#. Or have a shop test it.

1997 contour 4 cyl cranks but wont start acts like fuel starved

If it acts like it's starved for fuel, it probably is related to that. I would check first though. If you have a carb, you can spray starter fluid inside and then crank it. If it tried to start, then it is fuel related. Probably a fuel pump, fuel filter, or fuel relay, or perhaps a fuse. If it doesn't start for a second, it could be many more things. If so, you should check your ignition system, spark plugs, wires, distributor, coils, ect. If your battery and starter are fine, start looking to see if your car is getting fuel. Hope this helps. Being broke down sucks!

Car just turned off while riding down the highway. I checked the battery. Charged it and tried to start up. acts like it wants to start but wont. All lights and electric components work. What should I do?

Could be your fuel pump getting weak. If you know of a mechanic that has a fuel pressure tester have him/her test it for you and make sure you are getting enough fuel pressure.

Everything works will turn over fuel pump works and has spark but will not fire tested fuel pump pressure with air to the fuel rail with canister and fuel pump worked good also tested all plugs and wires...

also try the fuel relay. its in the fuse box under the hood. and try replacing the battery, i had a problem very similar to this and it turned out the battery was the culprit. the air ride beats those batteries up especially if the compressor is getting worn out

Car wont start

Check your starter motor, sounds like a dud winding in it. Then starter reeds to be overhauled / replaced.

Can you bump start it or is auto? If it's a stick shift you can try to bumpstart it, if it starts then its a good chance that the starter is fried.
