Ford Crown Vic p0300 random cylinder misfire

I have a 2000 Ford Crown Vic interceptor with 185,000 miles. The car only misfires when the temp is below 50 degrees it stumbles really badly. I have changed the temp sensor, plug boots for the individual coil packs, I have also replaced the PCV and the hose that runs from PCV to throttle body. Once the car warms up it smooths out and runs fine NO MISS once warmed up. The car is in top condition for the mileage other than the miss. Please any solutions would be appreciated.

Take a look at the EGR valve it could be either vacum controlled or electronic either way what seems to be the problem is that the valve is stuck in the open position until the engine warms up you can gently tap the egr valve with a small hammer or a screw driver and you can see that it runs smooth, now if the egr valve is vacum controlled replace the valve. if it is electronoc controlled replace the valve and the module for the egr valve.

Hi, I'm getting codes 136 02 sensor bank 1 sensor 2 along with 301 cylinder 1 misfire and 304 cylinder 4 misfire. Could the 136 be caused by the misfires ? I'd like to just swap out the plugs, but, they...

I wouldn't worry about the 02 code it will clear when you replace the coils. to be positive that the coils are bad, swap them with another cylinder and see if that cylinder misfires. 90% of the time it's the coil. Let me know

you can get a A/C Delete kit for a Ford 4.6 liter. the 4.6 v-8 accessory drive system is all the same. You may also be able to run a line of string around the pullys, take it to your local auto parts store and they can match it up. I recomend the kit,

Replace you Maf sensor and have a nice day. lol does the hesitation go away when you let off the gas. does it buck hesitate and misfire under load? most common problem is the maf sesnor.
easy to change. don't buy a used part it may develop the same problem after a little while. you can try cleaning the wire inside with brake cleaner (not intake cleaner). it may or may not help.

Cylinder 4 misfire on a 2000 crown victoria interceptor

first cylinder 4 is the last on the passenger side . first pull the coil out and check if there is water where the plug is. if there is take the water out and dry up the coil. if you find water you got a crack manifold or a bad intake manifold gasket. if there is no water replace the coil. good luck

2005 Crown Vic will not start in cold weather

Perhaps it's a electronic sensor on the transmission not sensing the car is in park, or the linkage from the tree to the trans needs adjustment to the correct position so the sensor reads correctly.
