I have a nissan sentra 1600 gsi twincam automatic i've putten in same enjin but this 1 manual and now wen i drive it da revs must first run sky high before it change and wen it do its wit a huge jerk

I haven't experienced this personally but a friend of mine recently did a motor swap on a honda, and put a manual trained motor in his automatic and it did the very same thing. it turns out that not only do you have to do a little magic to get the motor to match up properly with the transmission, but the ECM/ECU need to be adjusted as well so the engine knows where it's rev points are and when to shift. Manual and automatic enegines from what I understand operating under entirely different workloads even though it is essentially the same engine. Again, i cant say for sure that this is the case in your example. but a trip to the dealer, or repair station that works in adjusting car computers could help you better than I can. hope this helps

Keeps backfiring & spluttering wen i drive it but seems to b ok wen i go for long drives, also engine just stops sometimes wen i driving

Engine backfiring and spluttering is usually related to engine valve timing and spark timing if the engine is low to medium mileage and has not been pulled apart it is most likely related to spark timing
The crank angle sensor loose or intermittently faulty can cause all the symptoms you have described another cause although unlikely these days could be either water & or too much methanol in the fuel
Have your crank angle sensor tested change to 98 {premium unleaded} lower grade fuels are false economy let me know how you get on with this

Reset ecu on Nissan hardbody 2006 model.stoped it at home, now wont start.maybe for second or two.Nats light not working on dash. keys still opening doors, enjin turning, does not start.enjin check light

Give this a try.....Timing is not as critical with this method...no stop watch needed. Just count in your head...one-one thousand, two-one thounsand, etc, or usestop watch. The most critical step is step #3....wait 10 sec, instead of 7.

1. Ignition "ON", count to 3.

2. Depress/Release pedal 5 times...hard and fast.

3. Count to 10 (not 7!) and fully depress pedal

4. Count to 12 (SES should be blinking), release pedal

5. Count to 10, depress pedal

6. Count to 10, release pedal.

7. Turn off ignition, then 81377951893%26mt_id%3D570%26mpre%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.ebay.com%252Fitm%252Flike%252F181377951893%26mid%3D446528%26sdc_id%3D%7Bsdc_id%7D&DealName=12v%20Electric%20Push%20To%20Start%20Engine%20Ignition%20Button%20With%20Red%20Led%20Light%20Up&MerchantID=446528&HasLink=yes&category=0&AR=-1&NG=1&GR=1&ND=1&PN=1&RR=-1&ST=&MN=msnFeed&FPT=SDCF&NDS=1&NMS=1&NDP=1&MRS=&PD=0&brnId=2455&lnkId=8070676&Issdt=150102050536&IsFtr=0&IsSmart=0&dlprc=19.99&SKU=181377951893">start engine. DOING WHAT JOB?
1.6L 1ZR-FAE is real name. full..
cam? spark? CMP or ckp sensors. my guess is CAM time.

Elise 111? 2009
ok, that is a toy engine.
the engine is common. a toyota (but not in states)
why not say what you are doing first. ????
eg: I just put on a new cam or head. or?
or> new cam chain, new tensiors , guides.
the FSM (factory service manual covers every step)
and is organized by job. (unstated by you)
used on may European toyota cars.
get the FSM for any of those cars. using, 1ZR-FAE
Fsm is factory service manual.
eg: ]

AVENSIS

Googling this engine, nets me zero, nobody is talking about cam timing marks.

the spec is here
The Toyota 1ZR-FAE is a DOHC, 16-valve, 1.6 L (1,598 cc) engine also equipped with Dual VVT-i and Valvematic.

I have a 2003 525i the ac and the heater does not work

Hi, needs way more detiles than that, and could be millions of reasons, dos any of your warning lights on panel coms on??? Going on just that and they both not working, check the fuses and relays if possible, you can find the numbers and position of them in the manual, but usialy there is 2 or some times 3 positions that could be situated: 1. Enjine bay. 2. Inside the car(usialy in the front by steering colomb) & 3. In the boot (rite hand side). Also can check 4 came off connections in the enjine bay, if visible and check HCV unit enjine bay firewall passenger side. Good luck, hope any of that will help, but defenatly needs more details and furder investigations...

1987 Nissan 200SX cranks but hard to start

Thats a classic sign of having your engine run too rich. That puffy layer of ash is carbon which means your engine is not burning gas properly or completely which means is misfiring thats why the car is shaking. Try having your oxygen sensors checked and make sure you are using good fuel.
