Hi, My 1993 camry idles with a miss. I have changed plugs. wires. cap, rotor and fuel filter. I bought a low mileage engine from Japan and changed over intake , alternator, distributor , and everything else we had to. The car ran like new after we ran it about 20 miles after installing. We drove the car for about 3 weeks when suddently it started this missing problem. The car really runs bad when I am driving about 30mph the car shakes really bad. I have a few more ideas of what may be the problem but cannot afford to try misdiagnose problem anymore. The interior light dims when I apply brakes too. I believe it could be an alternator issue. I also considerd the ignition coil may be bad. Please help. Thanks.
Make sure you don't have a faulty fuel injector, this may be the cause, also use a can of carb spray and spray around the intake gasket to check for leaks, if one is present you will notice a diff in the engine sound when the spray hits it.

at start up it misses and shakes. if i try to drive it i cant get over 20 mph. once it warms up it drives fine
