There is no relay.....there is a motor controller. located in the duct work, on the firewall, passanger side. it has two connectors and 3 screws that hold it into the ductwork. Common problem is the fan will not shut off when the ignition is turned off.

The blower module is just above the blower motor in the heater case on passanger side about six inches away. Goes in from the top.

SOURCE: Where are blower resistor and relay located on 1995 Park Avenue?

For most common location, open hood and look near cowl for a plug near the air conditioning box just forward of the windshield wipers. It should have several wipers and the resistor itself protrudes downward into the box held in place with two screws. Screws have 7mm, 8mm, or 1/4 inch hex head.

If not: look near blower itself under the dash on the passenger side. The resistor should protrude upwards into the HVAC housing near the blower.

Testimonial: "That was quick! Thanks! Perhaps in passenger compartment versus engine compartment!"

SOURCE: Hi. I have a heater problem with a 1989 buick

Hi,
By saying it's not the switch, can I assume you have power to it? Or are you hooking the battery to the switch?... I was going to suggest checking for a blown fuse.

1989 Reatta: Motor Mechanism on the Headlamp doors do not open.

hello the only thing i can think of is that motor for the lifter is at fault, the motor has a set of switch on them to stop lifting and dropping if one of the switches has gone it will go off cog and be stuck as its a cog system you will not be able to move motor by hand. i would remove the motor and check to see if you can get it to work on a external power source. hope this helps

AC vents do not blow strong blow very weak fan running on hi

The blower motor resistor has to be changed. The part is in the wirng between the a/c control head and the blower motor.

You should take to a local shop for repairs.

Blower motor

Your blower controller has failed, It is located in the heater duct, above and to the passanger side away from the blower motor. There are two connectors that plug into it and two screws hold it in place. Other GM cars of the same vintage will use the same controller IF they have automatic air system.
