Question about 2002 Buick Rendezvous
The first thing I would do is be sure that your ignition switch is not shorting out, then I would be looking at the solenoid on the starter. The solenoid is the most common thing that fails and causes this to happen, eventually it will burn out and the starter will be done for. The reason I suggested checking your ignition switch first is because of the simple fact that I don't know your cars history.
