I have a '99 dodge grand caravan se, while in park the abs light came on, the battery light came on, and the check engine light has been on,

Looks like you have a few issues there.

1. The battery warning. This is indicative of a weak battery and if your battery is 3 years old or more I would replace it.

2. If you have a weak battery this can trigger other warning lights in the vehicle, typically the ABS warning but sometimes other warning lights as well depending on the electronic features in the car. If you replace the battery this should correct the battery warning and most likely the ABS warning if both of these warnings appeared at the same time.
Normally, once the ABS warning is displayed the anti lock braking system(ABS) will be shut down. Whilst your braking will be normal, if you brake too hard and lock up your wheels on a slippery road there is no ABS assist to prevent the brake lock up which you have when the system is working.

3. If the alternator on the engine is not generating sufficient power and thus not charging the battery at all, or very little, you will likely get a battery warning light. I don't know if your 1999 vehicle has a warning light to indicate a faulty alternator or not.

4. Check Engine Light.
You suggested the CE warning has been showing up for a few days and before the battery and ABS warnings popped up.
The CE warning can be caused by dozens of different engine issues.
The vehicle needs to be scanned with the appropriate scan tool to see what fault codes the onboard computer is generating because if you have a CE warning light there will be fault codes generated 99% of the time.

Once these fault codes have been pulled the mechanic can start to diagnose the cause of the problem or problems. Each engine fault code your car's computer is generating can be caused by different types of problems so it is important that they diagnose the issues correctly. Otherwise your Check Engine light will remain on as long as the causes are not identified and fixed.

New hub and abs light come on when turning or hit bumps

The brake sensors. Cars with antilock brakes have an amber or yellow warning light, which usually says ABS. If this light stays illuminated after the bulb check, it indicates a problem with the antilock braking system. The ABS controller will disable the system and your brakes should function as if you don't have ABS. In this case, you can safely drive the car to a mechanic for service.

Meaning of warning lights

Manufacturers spend billions of dollars a year refining their cars' on-board diagnostics systems. However, all of the sophisticated diagnostics in the world will do little good if you don't know what the warning lights mean.
Purpose
Modern automobiles have dozens of sensors to monitor engine, braking and chassis performance. Any deviation from the car's established limits will trigger a dashboard warning light.

Check Engine Light
Check engine lights can indicate failure of the emissions system, fuel injection system, faulty sensor feedback, overheating or lack of voltage, transmission failure, and engine knock ignition system failure.

Brake Lights
Almost all cars have two separate lights for the braking system: a red "ABS" (anti-lock braking system) light and "Brake Warning" light. The former indicates failure of the electronic anti-lock system, the latter a loss of fluid pressure in the brake system itself.

Dynamic Warnings
Many modern cars have traction or stability control systems that prevent and notify the driver of tire slippage. These lights can come in the form of amber "SLIP," "TC," or "TRACTION" lights (for spinning tires), or "ESC" (electronic stability control) lights for a sliding vehicle.

Safety Lights
Most cars have a diagrammatic warning that indicates a door that isn't all the way closed, a seat-belt warning light, and an "airbag disabled/enabled" light. Any or all of these will be red or amber.

2litre Auto Diesel Does the ABS warning light indicate a brake pad fault and does it apply to front and rear brakes as well. or just the front ones? thanks Fatman2

If the ABS light stays on after you start the engine there is a problem with the ABS system, there are small sensor on each wheel and when they get dirty you will bet a steady ABS light. If it comes on when you are stopping on snow, ice or rain, it is probably OK.

Abs light and T/c light went on after about 45 minutes travel time. I stopped turned off ignition waited a few minutes and started the car again. Abs and t/c went off. After another 45 minutes of travel...

The ABS light may be a false positive indicator. It usually indicates a problem in the braking system. This could be caused by low fluid, worn shoes or a leak in the system. You should have this checked. The T/C light is indicating a problem with your traction control system. This is controlled by a controller connected in some fashion to the transmission and could be indicating a fault in your transmission. Again, something that you should have checked by a transmission shop. You can start by going to a parts supply that offers to read the fault codes using a code reader to identify exactly which faults are detected. This is Free and Auto Zone and O'Rielley's auto parts. In fact, I would start with that. While there you should pick up a Haynes Manual on your vehicle so you can look up what the most common cause of those codes is and see if it is user repairable.

In my 2009 corolla s, my abs and brake indicator lights keep turning on and off during multiple driving trips. sometimes, when i start the car, the lights are on, then when i'm driving, they turn off. ...

I have a 2009 LE and the abs & brake warning light came on. Took it to the dealer, it is a known problem on some corollas. They ordered a speed sensor ($650) which is covered on the 60K warranty. The light went off the next day (part is not yet installed).

Hyundai Matrix Check Engine and ABS lights come on

Your ABS likely has a very dirty reluctor (can happen if the teeth get mud or brake dust in them) or possibly one of your speed sensors is starting to weaken and is close to failure. The proper diagnostic sequence is to have the trouble codes pulled from ABS and Engine modules and determine what the computers SAW when the lights were turned on. Most likely based on description, your ABS will have a speed sensor code, and your engine and/or trans module will have a transmission related trouble code. Very few transmission codes are things you can service at home, usually youll see solenoid or gear slippage codes...mostly those require internal repairs that often require removal of the valve body or rebuild of the transmission.
Make sure you check fluid level, that is the most common cause of transmission slippage codes, however if fluid is full, it indicates that unless the fluid has failed completely, you may need transmission repairs.

Two ligts panel instrument red BRAKE ligt and amber ABS

On some cars, this combination indicates a failure of the ABS control module. I don't know for certain if Pontiac set their cars up the same way, or if you have two problems with the car - possibly a blown brake light bulb or low brake fluid (for the BRAKE light) and a wheel speed sensor problem (for the ABS light). You can check the bulbs and fluid level to see if they are off, but if not, it may well be the ABS controller. If that's the case, you could either buy a new one for probably a lot of money, or check out www.modulemaster.com for having yours rebuilt (usually $150-200, significantly less than buying a new one).
