Where is the ignition modulator located in a 1984 toyota truck

Ignition "modulator"??? I assume you mean "ignition module" or "Ignition control module". If this is what you mean, it is mounted on the ignition coil assembly. Toyota refers to this part as "transistorized ignitor".

WHERE is the keyless entry box on 97 dodge caravan

Hi.

Only 96 and 97 models have a separate RKE module. Models from other years do not necessarily have a separate RKE module but RKE is one of the functions of the Body Control Module located under the dash.

In the 1997 Dodge Caravan the RKE module is located up on top of the dash between the defrost ducts. Removing the upper dash panel you will find the module located behind the safety indicator cluster on the left hand side. The module is a small black box of about 2/3 inches side, attached to a blue electrical connector.

Regards.

Signal lamps do not light or blink when lever engaged. 4-way flashers do work.

It could be that one of the flasher module for the turn signals is bad. There should be 2 flasher modules: one for turn signals, and one for four way flashers. Check you vehicles manual for a location on the flasher modules, or Google a query like "Location of turn signal flasher module on a *Year Make Model*". After you locate them, it should be as simple as going to an auto parts store and asking them for a replacement module. If that doesn't work, I could be the switch in the dashboard, or a more complex wiring problem. Make sure you check all of your fuses too. I would say that if you cant fix it by replacing the flasher module, you should take it to a mechanic because it is very easy to destroy wiring in your car.
