Find the source of the leak to start. This could be from the radiator (replace it) or a hose with a pin hole (replace hoses and clamps).

Or it could be from the radiator expansion tank. If this is filling up and expelling coolant, you either have a blocked radiator (possible for a 16 year old car) or a blown head gasket. A compression test will give an indication if a gasket is leaking (before failing completely).

2001 galant inside leak when ac on

if the water is on the drivers side only ,you need a mechanic to put a gasket around the outside drain of the a/c this will stop the water from going back into the car.tell him to possibly use a material for windshield installation

My 2000 mitsubishi Galant over heats too much

have you tryed to replace your thermostat? if you have a numbered guage on your dash.... has it been higher than 200? if so,then your problem may be thermostat,or a cooling fan not coming on when the engines reached it's standard operarating temperature. as long as you're not loosing coolant from your radiator, does not point to an engine leak.however,if you notice a leak after driving the vehicle, then, you have an issue. determine where the leaks coming from.leaking freeze out plug, leaking water pump, and the worst! leaking coolant into,or,onto the passengers side front floorboard.{heater core replacement} thank you for choosing fixya.com!

Water leaking into driver side floorboard

If you have a sunroof then you have a clogged drain tube but usually you will see that the water is dripping form overhead in the liner. Otherwise you may have a rusted out spot behind the front driver side wheel. Maybe leak from windshield seal but that would be most noticeable.

2002 Mitsubishi Galant has water draining into the

the ac drain is more than likley stopped up, they tend to get clogged with debri not allowing the condensation from the evap. core to drain properly, thus allowing it to leak into the floorboard.

My 2002 Galant is leaking water inside my car on the drivers side

Your heater core is leaking. I'm guessing that when you turn on the vents for heat or a/c, you are probably getting vapor/steam inside the car. If this is the case, you need to have your heater core replaced.

Water leak on mitsubishi galant 1999

the probable cause is the drain for the ac coil is stopped up for an a/c leak inside.
if it smells like anti-freeze, the heater coil is leaking and may need to be replaced.
