I have a 1999 Chevy S-10 and it leans to the right at about an 1" and has no torsion baron the truck to adjust it any thoughts on this besides new Leaf Springs or helper springs.. I need to fix the leaning...

Does the vehicle behave differently when driving? Thumps when hitting pot holes or bounces more than usual.
Park the vehicle on level ground and with a good bright torch take a very good look at the suspension on both sides. This lets you compare one side with the other.
You'll need to examine the suspension for obvious damage. Try the method below. If the spring and shock look OK it could be the suspension has a 'soft' spring or a faulty damper on one side.
You are looking for broken or missing pieces. The spring should also look symmetrical. Check the mounting points front and rear especially the rear swinging mount. Chock the wheels, (front AND rear of one wheel), and get someone to bounce up and down in the back of the vehicle. Without getting under the vehicle watch the springs and mounts move. It should be the same both sides.

I want to fit air bags to my 2014 i40 Hyundai station wagon in the rear coil springs. Could you please tell me the internal dimensions and the height of the coil springs loaded and unloaded.

this a job for the suspension professionals
there are coil springs with the air bags already inside the coils that will fit straight in
the thing with air bags is that if inflated to the correct pressure , the height of the springs will not vary as the load is taken by the air bag and not the coil spring
for example heavy vehicles running on air bag suspension retains the same ride height regardless of the load on the vehicle
what you propose is great for towing trailers, caravans etc or carrying heavy loads on the tray at the back

Does a 1965 mustang have a suspension overload spring

Not exactly. The Mustang of that series had leaf springs and "overload" springs were usually a set with an extra leaf or two. Overload shocks were shock absorbers with an additional coil spring.
I don't think you could special order overload springs since the car was not designed to haul any extra weight like a truck or station wagon.

Replace rear tail light on ford focus wagon 2000

abar_a.gif?v=77611 Remove two screws and rotate to the side

To remove the rear light assembly for access to turn signals and brake lights:
1) Open the trunk to expose two screws.
2) Remove these two screws.
3) There are two brackets still holding the housing onto the car. Do NOT pull up and do NOT pull up on the housing; you will break the plastic pegs on the lamp housing.

4) Referring to the driver side lamp housing and facing the back of the car:

a) You can see these pegs and brackets on your left hand side if you pull the light housing GENTLY outward. The pegs are pointing into the vehicle from the left side of the car and stick into holes. There is also a spring bracket holding the housing on where the screws are.

b) To remove the housing from the brackets, push/pull the right side of the lamp housing outward and to the left. Do this carefully so that you do not break any of the plastic pegs. What you are looking to do is detach the housing from the spring bracket, and then push/pull the pegs from their holes. You are simply rotating the lamp housing out of the brackets.

Simply mirror instructions for removal of passenger side housing.

This part is a little easier. Line the pegs up with the holes, and then push gently to line up spring bracket with it's hole. Then, push with a little force to get the spring in the hole. Make sure the pegs are in their holes or else it will be crooked and loose.

Take your time! You do not want to break the plastic. It should eventually come loose. With any plastic on your vehicle, be careful not to force it. Good luck!

X-type 3000 awd rear end feels unstable on a right hander

Sounds as though you changed to none factory springs, and the spring rate changed.
Put the old springs back.
You have components that don't work together or weren't designed for your vehicle

The shifting lever will only go about !/2 inch back when I hold my foot on the brake It won't go in gear

check your shift interlock spring on the left side of the shifter--it should attach to the upper pink pivot--the hook breaks off the pink part--drill a hole and fish the spring threw the pink part the opposing hook should still be on the shifter case--the spring is about an inch long look for it toward the rear on the console area
