Question about 2006 Nissan Armada

How do you remove the brake light assembly on a 2006 Nissan Armada

I cannot get the light assembly off my 2006 Nissan Armada to change the brake light. I removed the two screws, but the housing will not come off. I don't want to crack it.

These can be a "bugger"... Once you have the 2 screws out, I usually get a small screwdriver wrapped in a rag between the lamp and the quarter panel (on the side of the vehicle) and gently pry the lamp straight towards the back. You might think that something is going to break and just when you think it will for sure, it will pop loose and the lamp will be in your hands, so be ready to catch it.

Good luck!

Sounds like it time to do the brake pads. That is the most likeliest to be the problem. If you have done the brakes it is possible that the clips that holds the pad in place might have slipped or the anti squeal mechanism is hitting the this rotor when the brakes are applied. PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT BEFORE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE COULD RESULT IN A DEADLY CRASH!
