Question about 1989 Volvo 740
One day I was driving on the freeway (which I don't do often) for about 10 miles, and I started getting really dizzy. I pulled over, and I noticed my engine sounded like there was a hole somewhere in the exhaust system (must be close to the engine, the fumes pour right onto the driver at high speeds). A 'friend of a friend' said I should be able to see an obvious sooty buildup, which should tell me where the leak is, but I have no such evidence. Any advice on where I might start trying to diagnose?
