Diagnostic connection I want to know the emplacement of Diagnostic cable ine the 1995 Isuzu Rodeo.

You have to align the Cam's and CRANK on ZERO and then take the Slack out of the Belt and then Check and make sure that after rotating the Crank 360 degrees, the marks still lign up and if they are... Then you are good

You need to check your wiring you have a wire conn

Should be a metal tab bolted to rear inspection cover of differential displaying gear ratio or count the number of teeth on pinion (small gear connected to drive shaft) Divide number into the number of teeth on ring gear

1995 Isuzu Rodeo 3.2 liter SOHC V-6 (6VD1)




1995 Isuzu Rodeo 2.6 liter SOHC L4 (4ZE1)

This is straight from Haynes Repair Manual for 1989-1997 Isuzu Amigo/Rodeo/Honda Passport (book # 47017:
The 12 pin Assembly Line Data Link (ALDAL) terminal is located under the dash on the driver's side on 3.1L engines. To retrieve the trouble codes, connect a jumper wire to terminals A and B. It may be covered with a plastic cover. They suggest using a paper clip to jumper the two terminals-then turn ignition switch to ON position (NOT ENGINE START). Check engine light on dash will flash-one flash-a pause-then two short flashes-indicating code 12-diagnostic mode. After self checking-if there are any trouble codes-the light will flash proper codes using mentioned method.Note the flash code then call a shop with your info for what ails your Rodeo.

We are talking about the Timing Belt and not the Drive/Surpentine Belt?

check your grounding wire and mack sure wiring is correct

if the grille screws are accessable remove the grille which should give you access to the underside of the lock, you may need a screwdriver to push the lever aside to release the hood

First, check the battery terminal connections and the battery cables, end-to-end. These should all be clean, tight, no damage. If this doesn't work let me know, we'll try something else.
