Changeing the luggage compartment light

The light in the luggage compartment is out. Can't see how to replace it, but I am sure it must be easy but don't want to break the cover. Any help?

I could not see an indent on the lens and could not get it off. Interestingly enough, my step-son's 2006 Prius has the indent. So I could not get the lens off because i could not get a flat-blade screwdriver to grip. I will take another look in better light but so far no success. Thanks for the effort, I appreciate your suggestion. BTW, does the lens come off or does the whole light assembly come out of the side panel?

You will likely have to use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the plastic case. There should be one side that looks different than the others, possibly with a small indent where the screwdriver can be inserted. Pry the panel off gently, but with enough force to work. Hope this helps Paul

You can't unless it has a key hole. If you put jump leads on the battery or connect a battery charger it will open straight away.

Luggage compartment lights

Should be in the trunk fuse box, more more likely its the harness that feeds the lights, when the trunk is open you need to check and make sure there is power to the lights.
