Trailblazer wont start, it's running fine, but then wont turn over when turning the key, I checked the battery I even replaced it today because it was 6 years old so i just did it in case and nothing, one thing I do notice is the steering wheel doesn't lock, any help would be appreciated.
My car was running fine yesterday until I pulled into the drive way and went to turn off the ignition w/o putting it in park. The lights got dim and it made a strange humming sound. It will not turn over at all now. Jumping the battery didn't work.

Check your car's ground to make sure it's getting contact, This is the black wire from your battery, follow it till it connects to your frame. may need cleaned for better contact. If this don't work check your positive connection on your starter "the big nut" Because if even in your coil pac it would turn over just not fire, Good luck to you hope this help's.
it sounds like your battery is dead charge it and try again if the starter still clicks it means it is sticking get someone to turn the key while you hit the starter body with the handle of a hammer which will free it of
Sounds like an antitheft problem I would start with the antitheft system. Usually when you only have one key all keys have to be programmed together even the original. When you have more than one it is easy to program additional keys.
