Question about 2006 Honda Accord

1 Answer

Interior lights The two reading lights in the front and the reading light over the back seat have gone out. One of the ones in the front works intermittently but is out most of the time. Also, the light behind the driver's side heated seat switch is out. Is it normal for bulbs to blow this quickly or could it be something else? If you think it is the bulb, how in the world do you change out the reading light bulbs? I can't figure out how to get to them. Thanks

I just had the same problem with the heated switch light out right after the warranty expired and the car went in for service. The car comes out, i have the heated switch problem. I pay 40 $ to fix that . Now the central locking is acting all funny. Car locks and unlocks itself.. Seems to be some kind of electrical problem.. I cant figure out what it is . It has already locked me out of my car when its on.

    Can someone please help ?

Bad electrical grounds ... check all systems for poor grounds ..first poster... you have water or moisture issues as well as perhaps ground wiring issues causing premature faliures of bulbs and other.. the lens' pop off to replace bulbs

Vw T5 caravelle. my interior lights at the back have gone out completely front interior still works fine, also rear back light is out all the time. When I lock the car the indicators flash to show car...

-Check the relay. It might stuck on.
-Basic check:
-Leave the hoop open and locate the relay. Then lock the car
and now remove (Unplug) the relay. If the light is gone
then the relay is bad. (It stuck on On Position)

Good luck

Power seat, mirrors, inside lights don't work.

If fuses ok, check for voltage with a meter at one of the interior lights, if no reading, earth elsewhere and if then it does read a voltage, you've got a bad earth common to those 3 circuits. That's how I'd begin if the fuses and relays were ok and powered.

Got an electrical issue with my 99 suburban. Back up lights don't work, both sides. I have other electrical issues don't know if they are related. Seat heaters work off and on, front passenger door...

My gfs envoy does this stuff too. Weirdly i found a wiring harness under the driver seat that has a mind of its own. When these problems happen look under the driver seat and move the wiring harness around. It fixed my problem, it may be a connection that is not making good contact in that harness.

My heated seats, easy exit seat, cruise control, and odometer lights were all effected by this one harness

My overheard interior light on my 2002 mitsubishi montero sport is out. what fuse do i change? I've dealt w/ it for 3 years, but now that I'm a new dad, I need to have the light on when mom and the baby...

If the light in the luggage area works, you have a burned out bulb at the back seat. The fuses are all in the same fusebox but the interior lights won't work at all, if the fuse is gone.

2005 Equinox interiot lights don't work with doors or dash switch

ck interior light fuse (10 amp) make sure the dome lamp is not in the OFF position. with the mirror, the outside temp sensor could be bad or disconnected. the sensor is near the front grille, in front of the radiator. a little 2 wire sensor. if it has been wrecked, maybe it did not get put back on.
