Re: high beam indicator light out. How do I remove guage...
The small plastic trim just pops off, behind them are 4-5 maybe even 6 small screws. i have a 95 F-150 as well and just changed all 17 bulbs that make up your instrument cluster. You can get the bulbs from Ford(cheap). I would recomend doing this when it is warmer outside or indoors where it is warm so you don't break any plastic parts. As well, I recomend you change all the bulbs while you have your dash apart. The manual said I would need to disconect the wiring harness but I was able to contort myself enough to do the deed with the dash laying on its side partly removed. Only took about an hr or so to complete.
PS: if you remove the plastic shroud around the stering column it will give you a bit more room to work.

Do your high beam work when switched on?? Is so your problem may be bulb inside cluster that failed. Also wiring to bulb might have failed. If high beam turn on, I would replace bulb inside cluster assembly..

If the fuel guage worked prior to changing the bulbs the ground should be ok. The only thing disturbed was the cluster assembly when you removed it. Recheck the connections at the back of the cluster again for tight connections and making sure there are no bent pins. You can also try tapping on the cluster near the fuel guage area to see if that helps
Unfortunately the light is soldered into the circuit board of the speedometer cluster. Even after you pull the speedo cluster, you'll have a difficult time removing the bulb and finding a replacement. I see speedometer cluster techs on ebay that will do a rebuild for $100+shipping. Seems like a lot for a $0.25 bulb but . . . .
light bulbs for the backlighting of the guage cluster are usually on the same wire, so if there is only one of them out, it should just be that bulb is burnt out. you'll have to remove the trim panel around the guage cluster and the remove the guage cluster. there will be a bunch of bulbs on the back side of it, but approximate the location of it and visually inspect them until you find the one that is burnt out. replace it and reassemble
There is a light within the guage cluster for the odometer, it's brobably blown. What you need to do: start from the windshield. Remove the plastic running across the front of the dash to the windsheild. Then remove the Dashboard. Then remove the wire clips/wires that run to the guage cluster. Remove The cluster. Then you can remove the back steel plate of the cluster and you should see the blown light bulb. If you can not see it align the clusterboard with the cluster to see the light bulb that ligns up with the Odometer guage. Replace blub.
Not a Fuse. There are Small Bulbs on the Back of the Guage Cluster that Burn out Occassionally. You will need to Disassemle the Dash and Remove the Guage Cluster to get to these Mini-Bulbs for Replacement. Please Rate my Solution, I need all the Help that I can Get! Thanks!
