Will the dealer make you a duplicate key (if you bought it new or registered with Mazda) with proof of ownership and the VIN?   Honda dealers can lookup the keycode for the VIN and make one, I'm pretty confident that Mazda has the capability too.  Give them a call, heck you've got nothing to lose.

SOURCE: LOCKED KEYS

I guess this is the beauty of ONSTAR. If you are an original owner, you can go to your Chevy dealer with ID , and they'll make you a key. So much for the CLEAN way , now, you can try with a slim jim, or with power door locks, and if you are good with a hanger wire , try reaching the door lock UNLOCK switch. Its tricky but do able. Hope this helps

SOURCE: KEYS LOCKED IN THE BOOT OF A BMW 320 2003 REGISTERED

Hiya, same thing happened to me with my e39 2yrs ago. Keys were stuck in boot for 2days, in the end I sussed out how to get them.......you have to take off the reg plate, then, with a pencil, drag a line from where the key goes in down to the catch where the boot actually locks. Then you drill a hole anywhere along that line, this will give you access to the bar that connects the locking mechanism, just put a long nosed pliers into the hole and pull the bar, and bingo the boot opens!

How to remove the back seat of my peugoet 307cc

Hi,

I had the same situation today. The rest of my car was open but the keys were locked in the boot. Fortunately, using a long, hooked rod, a nice man was able to fish the keys out from inside the car. Just above the back seats, the plastic is soft and flappy. You can squeeze tools in and out through there (and an arm at a push) and try to fish the keys out. I hope this helps other Peugeot owners.

Just bought a used 1998 Volvo S70 (as is). Have 1 remote & it opens the car. Have 3 keys that all start the car, open trunk, but none of them can open the driver's door. That is the only door...

obvious and thats because someone has damaged the lock ,go to dealer and order a new lock for that door with the chassis number and change the lock ,unless the back of the lock mechanism is damaged do the keys turn in the lock and nothing happens or wont they do into teh lock??

Boot opening

It shouldnt be a problem.but since most cars are equiped with remote keys, the manual keys are rarely used on the boot. and it tends to dry and get stuck, try spraying wd40 or lock oil in it and try after a while, goodluck.
