Question about 1989 Peugeot 405
You don't say where you live. If temp. is below 32 f. - you could have congealed fuel. A weak fuel pump then cannot serve injectors properly. My 505 estate wagon had a similar problem when I quit driving her every day. You need fresh fuel and drive often. I eventually installed, had installed, an inline fuel heater and also keep her in the garage nights. She starts and runs well always now. Good luck with yours. We live in northern NH.
