SOMETHING WAS DONE WRONG, TAKE IT BACK TO THE SHOP AND MAKE THEM FIX
WAS THE FLYWHEEL TURNED?

FixYa.com claims they have factory repair manuals, they have nothing of the sort ,this is false advertising, we experts are not employed by FixYa.com, we help free of charge as much as we can with the general automotive knowledge we have learned while working as auto technicians, I think allot of people don't understand this.

I am sorry to hear this, but you are going to have to tear it down and figure out what went wrong, sounds like the pressure plate is defective or the clutch is no fully releasing, make sure it is before you take it apart, there is a chance it is the clutch release that is at fault.

CLUTCH SLIP

You cannot adjust it, if it's slipping while driving either there is oil on the clutch disc, the pressure plate isn't strong enough to overcome engine torque or something is incorrect in your clutch system

When i am driving useing the clutch my car doesn't get up to speed

possible clutch wear , if the clutch is worn, adjusted wrong, or slipping, this same thing will happen, depending on how many miles are on your vehicle, it may be time to replace the clutch ., you don't state if the motor seems to be running smoothly ,, or the same as it was prior to this problem,, if it seems ok, its time for a new clutch

Clutch was slipping real bad, changed gears just fine. Took it to a garage, installed new clutch kit, Drove it home still slipping, so I replaced slave cylinder, great for about a week started slipping...

check the clutch linkage and make sure it'd not binding and di you replace the pressure plate? if not then it will need to be replace to stop the slipping if the linkage is not sticking or jamming. If the pressure plate springs are broke it would cause it to slip, also if the master cylinder is not releasing this could cause it to slip.

The clutch slips in first gear when it is hot.

You need a new clutch again. Sorry to give ya the bad news. This time make sure they put a new transmission seal in so fluid can not leak onto the clutch plate and ruin it.

Peugeot 106 1.5D. the clutch was slipping so new clutch fitted 2 weeks ago. It was still slipping so that garage replaced the clutch again. Guess what? It is still slipping. Any idea what is going on?

Yes clutch pedal should start to drive about 1inch off the floor and when driving keep your foot away from the pedal,/ also when new clutch is fitted did they fit a complete clutch assy /and did they surface grind the flywheel as if it was badly worn on the 1st one then the new one wouldent last very long.
as when the clutch starts to drive 1" from the floor clutch is good /when it engages right out its buggered and slips so ask about the f/wheel

May be a bad pressure plate, because if it was the clutch hydraulics the pedal will go to the floor. Good Luck
