Question about 1997 Buick LeSabre
Well good luck cause it didn't fix mine instead it got worse so i just got a used transmission

I have the same condition. I have been told by a very good mechanic that I trust that the problem is the torque converter itself. It is locking up and unlocking when it should not. We found that if we raised the front end of the car off the ground, the tires would start spinning even though it was in park. In this case the converter was engaged. It is not clear if just changing the converter will solve the problem, but that is what we are going to try.
