Fuses are fine. Possible short in wiring? Where do I look for it in the dash?

What have you checked?? is the system fully charged? is the AC compressor clutch working? is the low pressure cycling switch ok? We have no wiring diagrams, FixYa.com leads people to believe we have factory books, we don't, we are not employed by this web site, we are just technicians trying to help with general automotive help for free. We work from home.

The fuse is not in the fuse box. Its a stand alone holder left side by the shock tower in a little black box. Just follow ac power cable.

Tail lights and dash lights do not work

If you have an external brake controller on the truck maybe you need to check and see if the wire hooking into your headlight wires doesn't have a fuse in it. If not I have no idea.

My ac or ac blower, and horn, and cooling fans are not working. someone recently worked on this car i need to know if it may be a loose ground. or if it could have been posible to blow all these relays at...

Yes if they shorted out something while working on it, it can blow fuses since the fans and horn both went out I would start with checking all the fuses related to these you also may have relays which can go out like fuses some will be under the dash and you might have more under the hood. start there if you find blown fuses and replace and they blow again then you have a loose wire or short.

No ac or radio...

It s very possible you shorted somethings. But I would look closer at the fuses even if you dont see the tiny wire burned out just try changing them to make sure they are good, and go from there.

Take a look at the wiring to the brake lights. It is quite possible that over the years one of the wires has rubbed against another enough to short out, causing the blown fuses.

2000 grand prix fan speed

i have been having that same exact problem with my 2002 grand prix for over a year now, and when my ac is on the lower setting the it doesnt work plus the headlights and lights on my dash go out. On Max everything works. i changed the blower resistor(about $35), still doesnt work. i changed all relays and fuses related to the ac, still doesnt work. i changed out the actual ac control switch in the dash, still doesnt work. i have changed everything but the blower motor and have asked every mechanic and auto parts retailer i come across and no one knows the answer. The best answer i got is that it is probably a wiring problem like a short somewhere.

sound like a lose wire.take dash back out and check the wires that goes to dash.wires could have move out of place when you removed the dash.
