Question about 1999 Hyundai Accent
When you first start the car in the morning the engine surges and wants to die. just bought it with this problem a month ago, previous owner changed the fuel line, and the mass airflow sensor. she also changed the idle sensor (idle/air valve), but with a junk yard part. if you unplug the idle sensor a few times and plug it back in right before it dies the surge stops, then seems to run fine other than it has an engine miss in lower gears (which i have been told is a diff problem).
There a lot of cuses for this but you need to scan the vehicule before to know what sensor is having troubles, if is too much expensive the scan in your city consider to buy one. I see in ebay a lot of types of OBD2 scanners for $25-30!
