Scion TC responding issues

When i turn on my car it idles well but when i rev the motor it lags a lot and sounds like its having trouble responding. It will eventually rev up but it seems to be like one second later. I know its an electrical problem. but someone said that the ECU is having trouble sending the signal to the throttle actuator. So i might need to get a new Throttle Actuator..HELP!

well i already cleaned out the throttle body. Did all the maintenance today. Its running smoother but still that one problem. the whole lagging issue.

SOURCE: VW PASSAT 03 V6. EPC AND TRACTION LIGHT COME ON INTERMITTANTLY.

First, to read VW codes you will want to get yourself a $50 VAG tool. It will read all your systems, not just the ECU.
Electronic Power Control can go out for several reasons. Check your brake lights with the car running. Check you radiator fluid level. If the car is running bad, you could have bad spark plugs/ wires or ignition coil.
The traction control is tied into the ABS system and often causes problems here as well. Each wheel has a speed sensor and magnet wheel in the hub. You can check these for damage by removing the tires for access. The sensors come out by hand, and inside the hole they come out of is the place to check the magnets with a flash light. Apply a small amount of wheel bearing grease to the sensor.
The control unit goes out in these systems at an alarming rate. They can be easily removed, and repaired for under $200 at modulemaster.com
Since it is intermit, I suspect most likely a loose sensor, or electrical connector.
If your brakes feel squishy at all, bleed the brake lines of air and contaminants.
Good Luck!

SOURCE: i hacve 04 lincoln somethime it goes 20 miles that

I have 05 LS. I had to codes a few days ago. After doing research on line, somebody, somewhere said it was coil #4. (passenger side nearest firewall). Not throttle position sensor or throttle body. I replaced #4 and tested around the neighborhood at times with RPM over 4k. Did not go into limp home mode. Ford will replace coils free if car has under 100K. I was in a hurry and purchased coil made by Borg Warner (limited lifetime warranty) for around $60.

How to replace head gasket on a 05 scion tc 1.5L

If you are asking the question let a mechanic do it. The gasket is cheap but it involves a lot of work and some experiance. Look in a Chilton book for that model and you'll get an idea of whats necessary.

When the warning light is on, you need to take it somewhere to get the computer scanned for trouble codes. Most auto parts stores can do it for free in hopes of selling you some parts. With the codes someone can begin the process of diagnosis.

sounds like it needs a motor... check your oil and coolant... motor either ran out of oil or overheated either way the engine is probably smoked... most engine jobs run around 5000 dollars

Steering Wheel Issues?

1. check your air pressure.
2. bring your car to an alignment shop,it sounds like it needs to be checked out if the air pressure is ok. and if one tire is really low it should be checked for punctures or a leaky valve stem.
