Question about 2001 Ford Windstar
I had this vehicle checked at a Ford service shop they told me they couldnt find anything wrong with the brakes anyway what happens is the Brake and ABS light come on and go out only when i shut off vehicle ,when i restart they never come bach on immediately after but usually after a couple a minutes?????
This could just be the car running a diagnostic check on itself and because you are turning it off then straight on there is a delay, also another problem could be there is an abs sensor located near the brakes, sometimes dust or break powder can get built up and lodged in and around it causing the sensor to give a false reading to the dash triggering the light.
