Replaced battery - need to reset clock / radio won't play
Battery was replaced and now I can't reset the clock... I do not have the touchscreen panel, and the manual says to use the touchscreen??? I can't find any info online... Also, when I press the AM/FM button, it says "No AM" or "No FM"... And the radio does not play...
Re: replaced battery - need to reset clock / radio won't...
My manual said the same thing. Although I have never had the radio stop working on me even after I changed the battery. To set the clock you hold the mode button, like your changing the bass/ treble. Hold it down then it will show clock flashing. From there I cant remember i think i used the arrows by the number pad to change the time. Hope this works for you.

The radio has three hot wires yes three, one is always hot this keeps the clock and your preset stations. one comes on when you turn the radio on and one comes on for a powered ant or an amp. Plus some radios have a ground wire and also ground through your ant. check all theses. And if you still can not get it going come by.
I have no clue what changing the oil would have to do with any of this. However, the problem you are describing sounds a lot like the types of problems that occur with a shorted battery cell. I would take a HARD look at the battery and charging system. If your battery is more than 4 years old, it is time to replace it.
If the battery and/or charging system is the cause, you will also very likely have fault codes stored in several of your computer modules. You will have to clear all of these codes from all modules and force a "clean boot" of your computer network to get everything working properly.
I had similar problem in 2001 rx300. Every morning the clock
will reset to 1:00. Sometime this will happen when I started the engine. The Lexus dealership replaced the car battery. According to the mechanic, The Rx300 are very current sensitive system and even though The existing battery was 3 years old the cold weather made the current go below the allowed limit. That makes the clock reset to 1:00. After replacing the Car battery, the problem when away
