Your going to have to run a constant power source to your unit to maintain the memory. I would suggest running it to the fuse box located on the Drivers side. Hope this helps

If you still have the original stock radio plugs it's best to buy a wiring harness that will connect to the factory plugs. Then the wires are all labled to hook up any cd or radio. It's called a stereo connector made by scosche check it out.

the easiest way to install a aftermarket radio is with a adapter kit sold at most auto stores...such kits make all the wiring conversions for you....and save the hassle of tracing down every wire

WIRING CHANGE FOR 2002 DODGE CARAVAN

Your best bet on that one is to go to a place that sells car audio systems or even some autoparts retailers have them, and get the proper adapter harness already made up. A few more dollars but, a whole lot less headaches.

I HAVE A 94 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE PUTTING A PIONEER DEH-1900MP STEREO IN AND WHEN I SHUT IT OFF THE STEREO WONT SAVE THE PRESET STATIONS

the problem is you dont have the battery wire on the radio hooked up to a 12v constant. it sounds like you have to take the battery wire of the radio and hook it up to a wire that stays 12v all the time even when the car is off.
