Question about 1987 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup
Started having some problems about a month back with the fuel pump in my s10 Blazer, Ended up dropping the tank and putting in a new fuel pump and everything and the blazer ran great for about a week (drove it about 90 miles in this timefrime) and then all of a sudden wouldn't get gas anymore. Anyone got any ideas?
Can you hear the pump when you turn the key on? some of the "off" brand fuel pumps are good cost but lack quality....if you can then i would check / replace the filter. especially after dropping the tank. lots of dirt can be drawn into a new pump..not good. what did the "sock" on the bottom of the old pump look like? dirty? also check fuel pump fuse!
