does your car idle rough, start rough/hard or drive rough? check for a leak you will smell the gasoline at the source follow the hoses from can cannister back to the gas tank. lastly the easy way to check the solenoid is to swap it with a working one unless you have experience with electrical testing

- ya my 1990 subaru legacy idels rough and around 45-50 mph it rides rough and im lacking alot of power- chasec55
