2000 ford expedition dash board guage

I just recently purchased a 2000 Ford expedition 4x4 4.6 liter. I notices after the first couple days that the odometer would not come on immediatly all the time. Sometimes it would, sometimes it wouldn't, eventually it would turn on. Recently when I turn on the car the oil little shows as the oil pressure being nothing for a couple of seconds on the dash board then pops right back up to normal. Sometimes after starting up the car it actually reads the oil pressure light then goes back to nothing for seconds then it goigs back up. And now the odomter is not acting up. Is there a really, or a known issue with the dash instrument?

Fuel gauge doesn't register correctly

The fuel gauge sending unit is in the fuel tank in a module along with the fuel pump, and float guage. It sends an electronic signal to the fuel guage on your dash. When it becomes worn or the float may even have a leak in it, the unit sends incorrect info to your guage. The solution is to empty your fuel tank, drop it from the vehicle, remove and replace the entire module.

Unknown warning chime on 2000 Expedition

This is basically the door chime that stays on. I had the same problems in a couple Ford trucks. the only easy solution it to find where the chime speaker is on your expedition and disconnect it. It should be somewhere behind where your stereo is.
