Clutch adjustment I had a high clutch pedal and then within a few days suddenly pedal goes to floor and clutch won't engage

The clutch is not adjustable it is fully hydraulic. That means it is self adjusting, if the clutch pedal engages high on the pedal and the clutch is hard to push you need a new clutch plate and pressure plate.

Get the clutch adjust for proper engagement if it is not slipping.

pedal up is engaged,
pedal at floor dis-engages it.
my guess, is the clutch drags unless i push the clutch pedal 100%
to the floor.
1: bad cable is 90% cause. non last this long.
2: no free play is way too loose.
3: broken lever on the pedal top. caused by #1

if its a cable clutch it needs adjusted either at the pedal, the fork underneath or both(unless the cable is stretched) in some cases you can shim it with washers on the adjuster shaft..if its hydraulic.. the cylinder under the car need s bled out to remove air bubbles..similar to bleeding the brakes..

Either there is low clutch fluid or air in the system. Or the clutch slave cylinder is leaking within itself.

not sure if theses have adjustment on them but if so it will be under the dash on the clutch rod its self

Your car has a hydraulic clutch release system, it is defective, either the master or slave cylinder is leaking or pulling in air and this causes the clutch pedal to go to the floor.

Try to adjust the clutch to compensate. if the adjustments have already been made and, the pedal is very close to the floor while engaging. this will confirm pressure plate failure.

replace the pressure plate in this case.

pull the boot back on the master and see if it is wet do the same with the slave

I found that having a wood stick on the clutch pedal down to the floor all night (the other end of the stick held by the seat. oh yeah !!! ) would help to ease shifting for the first hour the next morning, then it would come back stiff and hard to engage in gear.
