Question about 2004 Land Rover FreeLander
Yes open the plastic valve on the top in pipe to the heater while the engine is not running air will be expelled retighten and start run till temp gauge half way up the dial if this does not happen then its the Thermostat hey presto heat should make toast

Make sure you havent a coolent leaking problem as this will cause air blocks resulting in lack of heat from heater

Check that your gate valve on your heater control is working, also check your thermostat. Good luck and remember to rateall tje replies you get. Thanx.

SOURCE: fuel filter freelander (petrol)
The fuel fillter is in the but you shouldnt have to drop the tank to get to it or the pump. Lift the back seat and you will see a plate held in place with screews take this off. Below this is a steel plate that you will have to spin off may need help fro a hammer as they are tight. Some are badged BWM. This gets you to the fuel pump and the filter
