First off the difference in a c and a k series truck is that the c is 4x2 and the k is a 4x4. You will have a 4l60e in your c/k1500. When you get into the c/k2500 or c./k3500 you will start to get into the 4l80e. It is like this because the 2500 and the 3500 are bigger trucks. I am 99.99% sure that you will have a 4l60e, because that is what i have in my truck and i have a 1997 chevy k1500 5.7 l v8.

truck lights and plow lights are on at same time. I switched harness and same problem. I replaced relays and now truck lights don't have high beams and lights on trailer has no break lights. I think the 2 relays are wrong and or wired up wrong?
