When you have no dipstick tube you can incorrectly check youroil level. ... How you check your oil level ...Missing: inches ltr
You had fill too much oil on your sentra. Nissan Sentra use, less oil compare to other brands car with same CC . Never fill the oil that reach max mark of oil dip stick.
Please replace your valve cover gasket ( my sentra has P/N: 13270-4m700, your sentra may has different P/N).
You can do it yourself. It is only need about 20 minutes to complete.
SOMETIMES A SMALL POWERFUL MAGNET CAN BE USED TO EXTRACT THE STICK BUT REMOVAL OF THE OIL PAN IS ONE METHOD THAT ASSURES ALL REMNANTS OF THE DIPSTICK ARE REMOVED FROM THE OIL PAN. TRY FISHING THROUGH THE TUBE BEFORE RESORTING TO PULLING THE PAN. YOUR IMAGINATION IS A POWERFUL TOOL. BEST OF LUCK. PLEASE KEEP ME POSTED. THANK YOU FOR USING FIX-YA.
You have to remove the oil dipstick tube. Most are just pushed into the engine block with a o ring seal. With some effort you should be able to pull it directly out. Have you tried a bent coat hanger with a barbed end?
The procedure is easy the acessability may be the hard part.
