SOURCE: 2005 GMC Yukon air conditioning
Hey folks, my understanding is there is a 'technical bulletin' for erractic AC vent behavior for 2004-2005 Yukons. This is not necessarily a warranty repair, so ask your dealer for further details.

SOURCE: AC not cool
Check the a/c lines entering the firewall. Large hose should be cold and small line warm-hot.If o/k, may have vacumm leak to underdash control. If vacumm is lost the system will revert to heat and defrost. Could also be the air blend door is stuck. Maybe something dropped down defrost vent on dash. If this helps Please rate
