Question about 1992 Ford Taurus
I have a 92 ford taurus I just got for a steal due to the work needed on it.
My power steering is just plain shot. I put fluid in it and its still empty! I think it leaks out while I drive. Power steering pump?
Also my car stinks! Is it because it is overheating (which it has a tendency to do)? It doesn't actually overheat but its goes a little bit over the normal range and then goes back to the middle fluctuating between the R and the L.
I NEED HELP!
Thees models develop leaks at the back of the engine where the PS lines connect to the steering rack assembly, check ther, they are very expensive and a bitc... to replace. A little over normal is not overheating, I would not be concerned about this.
