Question about 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier
The trac off light comes on, then the car starts to shift really hard. Then dies if I don't turn the car off, and turn it back on asap. Can you tell me what would cause this?
Replace the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). $30 to $40 if you do it yourself or $70 to $95 if you have a service station do it. This will fix all of your problems related to the TRAC OFF light and transmission shifting into low gear.
