I have a 2002 grand cherokee I put freeion in the thing and it stills blow hot air. You have to take a stick and push the clutch in then the compressor runs .but still blows hot air out.The gauge says it...

Do this:
When the vehicle is COLD, start it and start the a/c and see if it is cold then. If so, your heater temperature controller is stuck in the HOT position. Check the hoses going from it and if this is true, replace the controller. The a/c is running, but the controller is sending hot water to the passenger compartment heater radiator.

The heater stop working and i dont know what it could be? its a jeep gran cheroke 2000

If you're getting air blowing, but it's just cold, and you have the auto temp controls, you probably have broken blend doors. Do a search for "Jeep Blend Doors" and I'm sure You'll find pleanty of info. Also google "Heater Treater" for a fix.

If your not getting any air, you may have a burned out connection going to the blower control module. This happened to me. Under the dash on the passenger side, next to the door, you'll see the blower motor. Trace the power lines coming out of it, and trace them back to the control module. Unscrew the two screws from the control module and drop it down. Now unplug the motor power lines from the controller and look for a melted connector. This is a known issue with Jeep. They sell a repair kit that you use to wire in new, thicker gage wires into a new connector. Check out this site for more info: http://www.wjjeeps.com/blower_motor.htm

Why would my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee only blow luke-warm to cold air when the fan is on high? First the heat went on the highest setting, so i used the second highest. Then it started to coll as...

Sounds like you need a blower motor resistor located down under dash on pass side next to blower motor. This is a comon problem and I have changed many of them. thats just the fan speed problem. Ive seen the blend doors break easily on those jeeps. thats inside the heaer core box and moves the flap from hot air to cold air. If it is stuck halfway -or mostly to cold- you may only get luke warm air. If they had the heater core out-maybe they possibly broke it.

Heater core 2002 jeep grand cher.

I purchased a Blen Door repair kit. for my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee after having only cold air blow out of the passenger side for over a year. I found it on EBay. It requires you remove the glove box, cut open the heater box and replace the blend door. I really didn't want to cut that open, however, with the tape that comes with it, I have had no problems with it leaking any air. The dual control no longer works, the temperature is now completely controlled by the drivers side, but to save $1200, I was willing to do this. I have taken the entire thing out before to replace the heater core, didn't want to do it again.

2002 Grand Cherokee heater warm on drivers side cold on passanger

generally this is caused by a "blend door " motor (actually a vacuum control) not working. I don't have a diagram on this but if you watch the motors mounted to the heater box under the dash, and operate the control, you likely will find one not moving (check all positions including a/c)
