Probably need to change the thermal flashed. It should be in the fuse panel. The fuse panel is usually located in the dash just to the left of where your knee is located. The flasher is a small metal can that unplugs.

Hope this helps Loringh

I have no signal lights, left or right, on my 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue. I was having a problem with a front bulb not contacting properly making the right signal flash rapidly. I left it flashing while

Check if your emergency flashers still work. You possibly need a new flasher. Some cars have separate flashers for turn signals and emergency flashers, but some they are both together. If your emergency flashers still operate leave them on and find the flasher (follow the clicking noise the flasher makes) and see if there is another flasher right next to it. swap with the emergency flasher and see if your turn signals work again. If so, replace the faulty flasher.

the front stays on steadily because you have duel element bulbs, the filiment for the turn signal is blown out-replace it with a new bulb, when you have it out check too for rust in the socket, they do that (I have a 2000 Intrigue w/140,000 miles)

While a fast flash usually indicates a burned out bulb, you've obviously covered these bases. Your next step should be to check the turn signal solenoid, also called a turn signal "flasher", as these ususally cost between $6 and $12. If that doesn't fix your problem, you may be looking at a new turn signal switch (that's what they're called, even though they control the headlights, too.) Just make sure you exhaust all other options, as these cost around $270.

Rear turn signal and hazard light don't flash (left side only)

The rear left turn signal bulb must be replaced immediatly before it melts the light socket, if it has'nt yet. Also please verify that the correct light bulb is being installed. because even though many bulbs look the same they are not identical. Installing the wrong bulb can be the begining of many, many problems in the particular circuit

Front turn signal

If only one side is not operating properly in front usually the rear signal on that side will blink rapidly. Generally this indicates a bulb is burned out. If a new bulb does not fix the problem there could be a problem with the ground or the socket. First guess - try replacing the bulb.

Front signal light not working and rear signal lights flashing fast on 1999 intrigue

Your front turn signal socket is shot. Buy a new one at the dealer for about 30.00. It will fix it. You may be able to clean it and wiggle it to get it to work. But it wont last very long. I had the same problem. Replaced the socket and it is fine. Note: If one side is bad the other side it not far behind. Probably 2 or 3 months it will go also. Good Luck.

Turn signals flashing rapidly

This fast flash is caused by a burnt out bulb in the front or rear.

Re: Turn Signal Problem

Hi , my right turn signal on my 2000 Intrigue, would randomly work, kept replacing bulbs which didn't help. I finally replaced the bulb socket which I got for $10 from a salvage yard. Works great now. Call around to find a salvage yard that has your car model. I get lots of parts for my cars and truck, negotiate with them also.
