their is an old song in england which goes like ////it all makes work for the working man to do/// well in this case i think the words need changing around to ///it all keeps work coming through the garage door //and this is why all these new cars dealers dreams compared to the 60s ,you cannot do anything yourself without some fancy bit of kit ,i dont think old dougy my old foreman could have fought their way up through greece towards germany welding german 80mm gun turrets to their churchill tanks or repairing the the big panzers and using back against the germans in albania and yugoslavia with modern equipment with all its dealer only type repairs .

There's no dipstick to check fluid, I just recently found out after mine acted similarly. If its acting that bad I would go to AAMCO & get fluid changed & filter. It takes a pump to fill fluid that most don't have at home. It cost me $140.

Sounds like its low on transmission fluid but i could be wrong as it could be a front clutch worn out but check the oil level first

I was driving my 2004 ford explorer and it died out. i put in park and it start for minute then died again.

Is it out of gas? Does it have spark? does it have fuel pressure? Is the engine overheated? There are MANY things that can cause an engine to die out. A LOT more information is needed. Nobody can help you with your problem until some proper diagnosis is performed.

2004 Ford Explorer ABS light on constantly and

I just had the same exact problem. The ABS light was on constanly, and the 4x4 high light flashes about 8 times, turns off for about 2-5 minutes, then flashes again for another 8 times and keeps repeating. In addition, I was also hearing and feeling a grinding and clunking noise going in reverse, and the steering wheel was difficult to turn. I changed a bad hub assembly on the front driver side and everything went away...fixed! I wouldn't let anybody tell me that the ABS system and the 4x4 system are not linked together. In fact, my local Ford service department assured me that I had two separate issues. Well, I only had one issue and it was a bad ABS sensor. I hope my exprience helps you.

2004 E270 CDI Battery light visit workshop

I had the same problem in me 2004 cdi e270. Check the voltage going to the battery when the car engine is on. Stedy charge of 12v should be going in to the battery, if the voltage is volitale say between 11v to 14v then it your Regulator (which is attached to the backend of the alternator). You need to change alternator and then unplug all the batteries over night and re plug them back again. The problem should go away.
