SOURCE: I have a 97 plymouth breeze with a 2.0

The fuel filter is bolted to the top of the fuel tank, you need to lower the entire tank a few inches for access.
There are many reasons the car dies while driving, I assume it when it has warmed up. Could be fuel pump issue or a sensor is overheating. Does the check engine light come on?

i the fuel filter is juste in front of the gas tank but you have to remove the gas tank to change it

This is a a frame-mounted fuel filter. it is located on the frame rail, above the rear of the fuel tank.

1996 Plymouth Breeze 2.0L SFI SOHC 4cyl the Fuel Filter is located under vehicle, passenger side, below seating area, near fuel tank, mounted on frame rail in fuel line.

For the 1999 Plymouth Breeze 2.0L SFI SOHC 4cyl the Fuel Filter is located under vehicle, passenger side, below seating area, near fuel tank, mounted on frame rail in fuel line.

FUEL FILTER IS LOCATED ALONG THE BACKSIDE OF THE FUEL TANK UP NEAR WHERE THE LEFT TANK STRAP BOLTS TO THE BODY/FRAME..YOU HAVE TO DROP FUEL TANK DOWN TO REPLACE FILTER..A LITTLE TRICKY TO GET AT..RECOMMEND A REPAIR SHOP IF YOU ARE NOT EQUIPPED TO DO THIS

I have a 97 plymouth breeze with a 2.0


The fuel filter is bolted to the top of the fuel tank, you need to lower the entire tank a few inches for access.
There are many reasons the car dies while driving, I assume it when it has warmed up. Could be fuel pump issue or a sensor is overheating. Does the check engine light come on?

Locating fuel filter on 96 plymouth breeze


look under the passenger seat... no not inside the car.... underneath just inside the frame rail... if it's not there try the drivers side.
