Question about 1999 Nissan Sentra
You have a couple of options. You can buy an inexpensive code reader for about $50 and pull the codes yourself. You can call your local parts store to see if they can do this for you. You can bring your vehicle to a local shop and have them run a diagnosis. There is usually a charge for this. Let me know what codes you have and I'll be happy to help you further.

First off, nothing "blows" into the air filter. It would be getting sucked in from somewhere in your engine compartment. My guess would be leaking valve cover. Check around and feel for wet oil. That will also be a leak. Have you been going through more oil than usual? Check that also. Hope that helped.

you can remove the ecu fuse or disconnest the battery for about 20 sec.if you start it after and the light is still on thats because your ecu has a hard vode that will come back untill correct repairs are made, have a good day DB

very first thing i would try is a full tune up. This means the fuel filter , air filter, plugs and wires and possibly the coils. If this still does not fix it then try doing an emissions clean on it. What this does is it cleans out the intire fuel system and is very simple to do. Depending on the transmission on whether its a standard or automatic could be a bad tranny.
