Thats not good you have a bad power loss to the headlamp, this can be from the combination switch to the headlamp switch itself depending on the year make and model,

All lights work except the head lights. Turn, Single, ect. Work. With head lights on Park, Day drive lights work. The only thing that does not work is the head lights.

How do I stop the head lights to flash when the light are turn off ?


some vehicles have the head lights or park lights connected to the immobiliser circuit so that the lights flash when locking/unlocking the vehicle. I would be looking at a light module problem

it sounds like an over loaded circuit breaker. check for correct rating for the lights in use.

After driving with my Head Lights on, I turn them off. Later on when I want to drive again with my Head Lights on all that come on is the Parking Lights. Also the Passing Head Lights work. Is this the...


Are you saying the passenger light works? If they both do not work, it might be your fuse. If only one works and the bulb and fuse are good, you may have a bad wire. It could point back to the switch, but usually if that is bad, the lights won't turn on.

have alternator test could be a voltage regulator in the alternator or a shorting out wire someplace look under hood around head lights any loose wires going to head lamps

turn headlights on and try moveing the wires by the head lights allthe way up battery and fuse boxes also check grounds by the lights if all looks good replace head light swicth.

Look at the fuses and should find a ten amp fuse that is blown in the fuse panel. Good luck

Head lights turn off and on on their own.


This is usually causes by burnt contacts on the headlight switch, very easy to change out.

Head lights turn off and come back on on their own!!!!!


There is a short in the power wire to the headlights from the headlight switch. The internal circuit breaker in the headlight switch is overheating and shutting them down, until it cools off.
